Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Cabinet Maker / CNC Operator / Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing operations with energy and precision. This multifaceted role combines expert craftsmanship in cabinet making, advanced CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machine operation, and strategic plant management. Duties Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are met efficiently and safely while maintaining high-quality standards. Manage cabinet fabrication processes, including cutting, assembly, finishing, and quality control to deliver precise and durable products. Operate and program CNC machinery for complex cuts and designs, optimizing machine performance for maximum productivity. Lead the plant team by coordinating production planning, scheduling workflows, and allocating resources effectively using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems such as SAP or MRP (Material Requirements Planning). Implement lean manufacturing principles and process improvements to reduce waste, enhance workflow efficiency, and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Monitor supply chain logistics, analyze supply chain data, and manage inventory levels to ensure seamless production flow. Enforce safety protocols, uphold quality control standards, and conduct regular equipment maintenance to minimize downtime. Drive operational excellence through data-driven decision-making using supply chain analytics and operations management strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations, optimize assembly processes, and improve overall plant productivity. Experience Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in cabinetry or custom wood products. Strong mechanical knowledge related to CNC machinery, woodworking tools, and manufacturing equipment. Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or other supply chain management software; experience with MRP systems is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives utilizing lean manufacturing techniques like 5S or Kaizen. Extensive knowledge of quality control procedures and best practices in manufacturing settings. Experience managing supply chain logistics, including procurement, inventory management, and supply chain analytics. Prior experience in plant management or operations management roles with a focus on team leadership and operational efficiency. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to develop production plans that align with business goals while maintaining safety standards.
