Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cabinet Painter/Finisher to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality finishes to custom cabinetry and woodwork, ensuring a polished and professional appearance that meets our standards. Your expertise in painting, finishing techniques, and material handling will contribute to delivering exceptional products to our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with precision tools and industrial equipment in a dynamic production environment, helping us create beautiful, durable cabinetry that stands out. Duties Prepare cabinet surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paints, stains, lacquers, and other finishes using airless paint spraying equipment, brushes, or rollers with precision and consistency Operate power tools such as drills, sanders, and hand tools safely and effectively during finishing processes Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments to verify finish smoothness, color consistency, and adherence to specifications Handle materials efficiently within the warehouse environment, including loading/unloading materials with forklifts and managing fabrication supplies Perform auto body repair techniques on cabinetry when necessary to correct surface imperfections or damages Maintain a clean work area by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols involving cranes and other heavy equipment Experience Previous experience in industrial or construction painting, auto body repair, or furniture finishing is highly desirable Familiarity with manufacturing processes including machining, fabrication, assembly, and lean manufacturing principles Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, airless paint sprayers, and precision measuring instruments Knowledge of materials handling procedures within warehouse or manufacturing settings Ability to interpret technical drawings or specifications related to cabinetry finishing projects Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during finishing tasks Warehouse experience involving forklift operation and crane use is a plus Join our team as a Cabinet Painter/Finisher if you’re passionate about craftsmanship, eager to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment, and committed to delivering top-tier finished products!
