As a Cake Decorator, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our cakes not only taste delicious but also look exceptional. Duties Decorate cakes according to customer specifications and company standards, utilizing various techniques and tools. Prepare and bake cake bases, fillings, and frostings while adhering to food safety guidelines. Package finished products attractively for display and sale. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to fulfill catering orders and special requests. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with cake selections and custom orders. Keep inventory of decorating supplies and communicate any needs for restocking. Skills Proficient in cake decorating techniques, including fondant application, piping, and airbrushing. Experience in food production and preparation within a bakery or culinary setting. Strong baking skills with knowledge of various cake recipes and flavor combinations. Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety standards. Excellent knife skills for precise cutting and decorating tasks. Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to create visually appealing designs. Good communication skills for effective customer interaction and teamwork.
