Location:Torrance, CADates:March 30-April 3Position:Seasonal/Part-Time About the Role Riviera Kids club is seeking an energetic, responsible, and engaging Spring Camp Counselor to join our team for a week of fun, creativity and active learning.Our camp includes a mix of over 8 activities that rotate throughout the week including:dance, art, cooking, sports, water games and more! Responsibilities Supervise and actively engage with campers Assist or lead small group activities such as dance, art, cooking science, sports, gardening, yoga, theatre, games and more Support lead instructors in maintaining a positive, structured and inclusive environment Ensure safety and well being of campers at all times Participate in daily transitions, including walking with campers to and from park (uphill walking required) Encourage participation, confidence, and teamwork among campers Help set up and clean up materials and activity spaces maintain high energy and a positive attitude throughout the day Requirements Must be 18 year or older CPR Certified Experience working with children in a group setting Ability to stay active and be on your feet for extended periods Comfortable walking daily, including uphill Reliable, punctual, and responsible Strong communication and interpersonal skills High energy and enthusiasm when working with kids Preferred SkillsCandidates with experience or skills in any of the following are highly encouraged to apply:Dance instruction cooking or culinary activities Visual arts or crafts Yoga skill and knowledge Theatre and or performing arts Group leadership or classroom facilitation To ApplyPlease submit your resume along with a brief description of your experience working with children and any special skills or areas of expertise you bring.Pay:$20.00 per hour Work Location:In person.
