The successful candidate will be tasked with providing strategic leadership and operational oversight to ensure the program's academic excellence, regulatory compliance, and student success. Key responsibilities for the Campus Dean include full-site leadership in strategic planning, curriculum development, and program evaluation, as well as managing the program budget and resources. The role also involves serving as the primary liaison with clinical agencies, overseeing curriculum implementation, and maintaining strong clinical partnerships. The Campus Dean will be expected to lead faculty and staff, manage student processes, and actively engage with the community and professional organizations to advocate for nursing education. Applicants for the Campus Dean position must have a completed MSN and DNP, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role managing BSN nursing. A current RN license is required, and a master's or higher degree from an accredited institution with coursework in nursing, education, or administration. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in pre- or post-licensure nursing programs, at least 2 years of direct patient care as a registered nurse, and a proven track record of leadership and collaboration. The role demands excellent communication skills, a commitment to diversity, and the ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people and institutions. Experience in supervision, planning, and budget management is essential, as is a leadership style that emphasizes collaboration and teamwork.
