Full job description Please note: Cannabis industry outside sales experience is required! Resumes with no relevant outside sales experience in the cannabis industry will be rejected. Dispensary counter sales do not qualify as outside sales experience. Oregon Roots is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Rep with a passion and knowledge of the cannabis culture. We’re a well-established licensed Producer and Wholesaler looking for a goal-driven go-getter to join our busy sales team. Prefer someone with established contacts at dispensaries that can hit the ground running! Build and maintain new and ongoing relationships with local dispensaries under the guidance of our Sales & Strategy Manager Knowledge of the cannabis lifestyle, products, and strains required Promote our brand by visiting established retailers, secure sales and reorders Establish new accounts and increase our footprint in Oregon dispensaries Consistently demonstrate a willingness to go the extra mile for our clients Assist with marketing and promotions as needed Requires an outgoing personality and the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written Must have excellent time management skills and be self-directed Experience using online Metrc system a plus Use of Gmail, Google Calendar, QuickBooks Online, Excel, BarTender Must have reliable, insured personal vehicle that meets OLCC requirements for transporting cannabis Must live in the Portland metro area Occasional travel outside metro area Full Time hours, M-F 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, overtime as needed Must be over 21 years of age and eligible to work in the U.S. Current OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit and valid Oregon driver’s license required Wage & Benefits include: Hourly + Commission, wage depending on experience Unlimited earning potential with commission structure Paid sick time after 90 days Paid floating holidays (5) after 90 days Paid vacation after 1 year 401k plan after 90 days No health insurance at this time Job Type: Full-time Pay: $45,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Experience Sales: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
