Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain cath lab imaging equipment during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures Assist cardiologists and other medical staff in catheterization, angioplasty, and stent placements Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to protocol Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to emergencies Document procedure details accurately and maintain compliance with health regulations Desired Experience And Qualifications Certification as a Cath Lab Technician or Radiologic Technologist with cath lab experience Proficient with fluoroscopy and other imaging modalities used in the catheterization lab Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology Ability to work efficiently under high-pressure conditions Excellent communication skills and teamwork aptitude Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Location Insight: Springfield, IL, serves as a central hub combining a rich history with modern amenities.
