Position Title Cardiology Transporter Location Liberty Hospital Position Summary / Career Interest Transports patients to and from the Cardiology department according to patient-specific needs. Assisting staff in basic care needs. Assists in preparing the patient for procedures including positioning the patient and room and/or equipment preparation. Responsibilities And Essential Job Functions Assist and accompany patients to/from Cardiology department Assist patient care staff with basic care needs Positions, lifts, and turns patients, as needed, in preparation for care Prepares the room and/or equipment for use Assists in the use of bedpan, urinal, or commode Utilizes, cleans, and maintains supplies including stocking rooms Ensures confidentiality of patient information Assist hooking up and prepping patients for stress echocardiograms Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.
