Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible with experience in cardiothoracic surgery Willing to share STS Data Proficient in performing a full spectrum of heart and thoracic cases Hospital & Location McLeod Regional Medical Center is a 517‑bed tertiary care and teaching facility and a referral center for the Northeast region of South Carolina. It serves a 12‑county referral area with a population of nearly 1,000,000 people. The urban population of Florence is over 100,000 people.
