This position will work a hybrid schedule which includes a combination of working both onsite at 9434 Medical Center Drive and remote. DESCRIPTION Under general supervision, the Hospital Assistant provides administrative support for the cardiology outpatient clinics, procedural areas, and specialty programs inclusive of: phone support, clinic appointment scheduling, non-invasive procedure testing, clinical coordination, and procedural scheduling services. Responsibilities include scheduling cardiovascular procedures and/or clinic visits, managing clinic scheduling, coordinating care, and ensuring programmatic needs of cardiology subspecialty programs are met. The role works closely with cardiovascular physicians and clinical staff to support efficient procedural and clinic operations, and to ensure prior authorizations are obtained in a timely manner to prevent delays in patient treatment and services. Procedural scheduling includes Cardiovascular Catheterization, Electrophysiology, and Non-Invasive Labs. Clinic scheduling is inclusive of all cardiology specialties and subspecialties.
