MEMORY CARE TEAM MEMBER Position Summary: As a memory care team member in our Trio Neighborhood, you will play a vital role in creating a compassionate and supportive environment for our residents. Your responsibilities will assist our residents with daily living activities, promoting safety, and ensuring well-being. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of those living with dementia. Join our team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents! Responsibilities: Knowing resident routines, life experiences, and what matters to them. Providing personalized care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, bathroom needs, helping residents maintain good personal hygiene. Assisting residents with a positive and social dining experience, snacks, and hydration. Monitor residents' health status, promptly report any changes, and complete incident reports as needed. Record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration) as required. Supporting Activity Team members and encouraging resident participation in person-centered activities. Maintaining a safe and healthy environment ensuring tidy resident rooms and common areas. Responding to and following established procedures during emergencies. Collaborate with team members and contribute to effective communications with team members, family members, and visitors. Attend and complete professional development trainings to enhance education, skills, and growth. Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) License, dementia experience preferred. Familiarity with technology. Physical and emotional capacity to meet resident needs.
