OverviewJoin our compassionate team as a Care Taker, where your dedication and nurturing spirit will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring support with daily activities and specialized care.This vital role involves providing attentive, respectful, and personalized assistance to promote independence, safety, and well-being.Whether working in a home setting, assisted living facility, or group home environment, you will be the trusted caregiver ensuring comfort and dignity for those in your care.This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to positively impact lives while developing valuable skills in health and social care.Duties Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by taking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature; observe for any changes or signs of distress Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) guidelines to ensure privacy and safety Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal consumption to promote proper nutrition Support patients with memory care needs, including dementia or Alzheimer's disease, using specialized techniques to ensure safety and comfort Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, care plans, medication administration, and incident reports in compliance with healthcare standards Engage in cleaning duties to uphold hygiene standards within the living environment, including disinfecting surfaces and laundry tasks Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, or family members to develop or update individualized care plans Skills Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes with a strong understanding of senior care and disability support Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to monitor vital signs accurately Certified in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid; trained in dementia care, hospice care, or Alzheimer's care preferred Familiarity with HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of patient information Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders (ASD) is highly valued Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams Compassionate attitude combined with patience and excellent caregiving skills to provide empathetic support during challenging situations Join us if you're passionate about making a positive difference through dedicated caregiving.Bring your skills in patient monitoring, medication administration, and compassionate support to create a safe and nurturing environment for those who need it most.Your commitment will help enhance quality of life while advancing your career in health and social services.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$10.00 - $12.00 per hour Work Location:In person.
