About the Role Senior Helpers of North Valley is seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to provide companionship, standby assistance, and light cooking for a male client.This role focuses on engagement, safety, and comfort, not heavy lifting or clinical tasks.Key Responsibilities Provide companionship and emotional support Standby assistance during mobility (be present and attentive) Prepare simple, healthy meals -- basic cooking required Light household tidying and organization Medication reminders (no administration) Pleasant conversation, walks, hobbies, board games, or other activities client enjoys Create a respectful, calm, and positive environment Requirements English & Spanish speaking required Prior caregiving or companion care experience preferred Comfortable with simple cooking / meal prep Patient, professional, and reliable Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration preferred (We can assist with the process if you're not yet registered) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Why Join Senior Helpers of North Valley Competitive pay Supportive local leadership -- we truly care about our caregivers We match caregivers to clients they will thrive with Flexible schedules & consistent communication Training and ongoing support Job Type:Part-time Pay:$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits:Flexible schedule Mileage reimbursement Paid orientation Referral program Work Location:In person.
