Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, memory care units, and home care environments. Prior experience in long-term care, dementia or Alzheimer's care, or working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued. Duties Assist residents and clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols and document accordingly using EMR systems Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Support residents with memory care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care strategies Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with feeding as needed Maintain cleanliness of personal spaces and common areas through light housekeeping duties Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship to promote mental well-being Follow care plans developed by healthcare professionals and communicate any changes or concerns promptly Support residents' emotional needs through active listening, empathy, and respectful communication Drive residents when necessary for appointments or community outings in compliance with safety regulations Requirements Prior experience in senior care, assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care preferred Knowledge of ADLs assistance, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and dementia or Alzheimer's care techniques Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral management skills is a plus Ability to operate EMR systems efficiently for documentation purposes Valid driver’s license for transportation duties if required by the position Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate attitude towards residents’ diverse needs Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environments Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Physical ability to assist with transfers using Hoyer lifts or other equipment; capable of standing for extended periods This position provides an opportunity to develop your caregiving skills while making a positive impact on the lives of seniors and individuals requiring support.
