Duties Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident’s Monitor patient health by taking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations for confidentiality Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and preparation to promote health and comfort Administer medications and follow care plans under supervision, ensuring safety and compliance with healthcare protocols including medication administration and patient monitoring Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and sanitation to uphold hygiene standards in home or facility settings Document care activities thoroughly in compliance with healthcare regulations; update records related to patient care, progress notes, and incident reports Support residents’ social engagement by encouraging participation in activities that promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being Experience CNA / HHA Preferred Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, group homes, or home & community care environments is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism Hands-on experience with patient observation, vital signs measurement, medication administration, and implementing care plans Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information Experience using mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts or residents’ for safe patient handling; ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary Benefits: 401(k) Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid orientation Referral program Work Location: In person
