Your efforts will promote independence, safety, and well-being for those in your care.Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts or transfer belts.Monitor patients' vital signs and observe their health status to report changes or concerns promptly.Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary.Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces.Document patient observations, care provided, and any incidents accurately in accordance with facility protocols.Support patients with specialized needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, autism spectrum disorder, or developmental disabilities through dedicated memory care techniques and behavioral support strategies.Qualifications Prior experience in home health care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred.Certification or training in First Aid and CPR is required; additional certifications like HIPAA compliance are advantageous.Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with disabilities or special needs such as Alzheimer's or dementia care.Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and reporting changes effectively.Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and assisting with mobility aids safely.Knowledge of medication administration procedures and care plans adherence.Compassionate attitude combined with excellent communication skills to foster trust and rapport with clients and team members.Embark on a fulfilling career where your dedication transforms lives!
