Duties Assist children and individuals with disabilities with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility to promote independence and comfort Engage children through educational activities, playtime, teaching moments, and behavior management strategies that support childhood development Provide toddler and infant care by preparing bottles, changing diapers, monitoring sleep routines, and ensuring safety at all times Support early childhood education initiatives by implementing age-appropriate curriculum activities in daycare or preschool settings Administer first aid when necessary and follow safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all individuals under your care Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, or team members to report progress or concerns about the individuals’ health or behavior Maintain a clean, organized environment that adheres to health standards for childcare and caregiving settings Qualifications Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or classroom environments Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques Certification in first aid and CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) required or willing to obtain upon hire Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or special needs Strong communication skills and a caring attitude that fosters trust and comfort Ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as lifting infants or assisting with mobility needs Prior experience in early childhood education or childcare is highly preferred Join us in creating a positive impact through nurturing care!
