The Position: Direct Care Professional We are looking for individuals to build meaningful relationships with adults wanting to gain more independence within their homes and in the community. Direct Care Professionals support our individuals through the activities of daily life: home care, meal preparation, socialization in the community, and behavior management. Direct Care Professionals are more than caregivers, they are mentors and life coaches for a wonderful group of people! · Extensive and continuous training on participant needs and goals · Implement programs as described in Individual Support Plans (ISP) · Work closely with program coordinator and care team · Assist participants in problem solving and skill development · Prompting and redirecting · Accurate documentation No experience is necessary.
