Overview Join our dedicated team as a Caregiver for Seniors in Alpharetta, GA and make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults. Responsibilities Assist seniors with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor residents’ health by taking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary Administer medications accurately following care plans and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Support residents with memory care needs such as Alzheimer’s and dementia by implementing specialized care techniques Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning tasks and adherence to infection control protocols Use assistive devices like Hoyer lifts or resident’s to ensure safe transfers and prevent injuries Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and follow personalized care plans that promote residents' health and happiness Requirements Prior experience in senior or home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes preferred Knowledge of patient observation, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring required Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable; ongoing training is supported Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer’s or dementia Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare teams Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with resident transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of patient information Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a home or facility setting Join us in creating a caring environment where seniors feel respected, supported, and empowered.
