Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Carpenter Helper to assist carpenters with construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures.The ideal candidate is eager to learn, able to follow instructions, and comfortable working with hand and power tools in a physically demanding environment.Duties & Responsibilities Assist carpenters with measuring, cutting, and assembling materials Carry, load, and unload tools, equipment, and construction materials Prepare job sites by cleaning, organizing, and setting up materials Hold materials in place during installation or fastening Assist with framing, drywall, trim, cabinets, flooring, and general carpentry tasks Operate basic hand and power tools safely (under supervision as needed) Follow safety procedures and wear required protective equipment Clean work areas and dispose of debris at the end of the day Perform other duties as assigned by the lead carpenter or supervisor Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Must provide a valid PA drivers license Previous construction or carpentry experience a plus, but not required Ability to lift 50pounds and perform physical labor Basic knowledge of hand and power tools preferred Willingness to learn carpentry skills and follow directions Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions Skills & Abilities Good hand-eye coordination Attention to detail Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Basic math and measuring skills Strong work ethic and positive attitude Work Environment Construction sites, residential or commercial Exposure to noise, dust, and outdoor elements Standing, bending, climbing, and lifting required Pay:$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Work Location:In person.
