OverviewJoin our dynamic construction team as a Carpenter / Laborer, where your skills will bring building projects to life with precision and craftsmanship.In this role, you will be actively engaged in a variety of construction tasks, from framing and trim carpentry to finishing and restoration work.Your energetic approach and attention to detail will contribute to high-quality results on diverse projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and excellence at every stage.This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills across multiple facets of construction while working in a collaborative environment that values your contributions.Responsibilities Perform trim carpentry tasks such as door hanging, fixture installation, cabinetry, and molding work with precision Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like cutting, sanding, drilling, and assembly Assist with restoration projects including plastering, drywall finishing, painting preparation, and water damage repairs Plumbing fixtures Follow safety protocols diligently on construction sites to maintain a safe working environment for all team members Skills Proficiency with hand tools (hammers, saws, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws, grinders) for various carpentry tasks Skilled in trim carpentry including door hanging, fixture installation, cabinetry setup and finishing touches Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper ergonomics during demanding tasks Basic electrical experience for fixture wiring or troubleshooting (where applicable) Strong teamwork skills with a focus on safety compliance on active construction sites This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow their expertise across multiple areas of construction while contributing to impactful projects.We welcome applicants who are detail-oriented problem solvers with hands-on experience in diverse building trades.Join us in creating durable structures that stand the test of time!
