Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Carpenter / Laborer, where your skills will help bring building projects to life! This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, perform skilled carpentry tasks, and support various phases of construction and restoration projects. Whether you're experienced in framing, trim carpentry, or general labor, your contributions will be vital in creating safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing structures. Duties Assist with framing, drywall installation, door hanging, and siding to ensure structural integrity and aesthetic appeal Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute project plans Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and roofing tasks as needed on-site Support restoration projects including water damage remediation, mold removal, plastering, and stucco application Install fixtures such as cabinets, doors, and hardware while ensuring precise alignment and secure fastening Conduct heavy lifting and material handling to move supplies safely around the job site while adhering to safety protocols Skills Proficiency in using hand tools (hammers, saws, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws) for various carpentry tasks Strong understanding of construction estimating principles and ability to interpret blueprints or schematics Experience with framing carpentry including metal stud framing and woodworking techniques Knowledge of construction site safety procedures and OSHA standards to maintain a secure work environment Ability to perform finishing work such as caulking, painting preparation, flooring installation, tile laying, and fixture installation Familiarity with water damage restoration processes including mold remediation and water extraction methods Basic electrical experience for fixture wiring or troubleshooting electrical components during remodeling projects Join us if you’re passionate about craftsmanship and eager to contribute your skills in a fast-paced construction environment.
