About Alpine Specialty Services Alpine Specialty Services is a family-owned specialty cleaning company that has served the greater Seattle and Puget Sound area since 1969. We are an IICRC-certified firm and NADCA-certified, specializing in carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, hardwood floor cleaning, area rug cleaning, air duct cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, and heated power washing for residential customers across the Pacific Northwest. About the Role We're hiring a full-time Carpet Cleaning Technician to clean carpet, upholstery, tile and grout, hardwood floors, area rugs, and specialty surfaces inside customers' homes. This is a hands-on skilled trade — work that can't be replaced by AI or automation — with paid training from day one and strong long-term earning potential. Pay & Earning Potential $22–$27 per hour base pay to start (experience-based) Commissions and performance bonuses on top of base pay Total earning potential of $25–$40+ per hour Full-time, year-round work Paid training and a clear advancement path Tiered Annual Earnings (based on experience and performance) Entry-level technicians (year 1): typical $50,000–$70,000 Experienced technicians: $70,000–$95,000 Senior technicians (top performers): $120,000+ annually Schedule Five-day work week, year-round Schedules may include weekends — typical rotations include Monday–Friday, Tuesday–Saturday, or Wednesday–Sunday Day shift; routes are local (no overnight travel) Overtime available during peak season What You'll Do Clean carpets, upholstery, tile and grout, hardwood floors, area rugs, and specialty surfaces in residential homes Operate truck-mounted carpet cleaning equipment Apply pre-treatments and stain removal techniques as needed Communicate clearly with customers about service and care recommendations (no pressure sales) Represent a trusted local company with professionalism and care Required Qualifications Valid Washington driver's license and clean driving record Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work on hands and knees Reliable transportation to our Mountlake Terrace plant Strong work ethic and customer-service orientation Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, or restoration work Mechanical aptitude with cleaning equipment or hand tools IICRC certification (training provided for the right candidate) Construction, trades, or other hands-on field experience Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid vacation and holidays Retirement plan with company match Free on-site workout / fitness room Employee discounts on services Company events and recognition programs Why Alpine We've been training and developing skilled service technicians for over 55 years.
