Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter / Deck Builder / Fence Builder to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, transforming outdoor spaces with expertly crafted decks, fences, and other structures. Duties Construct, install, and repair decks, fences, and other outdoor structures using a variety of hand tools and power tools. Measure accurately and cut materials such as wood, composite, vinyl, or metal to specifications. Perform framing carpentry tasks including setting posts, framing structures, and ensuring structural integrity. Handle concrete forming, pouring, finishing, and masonry work as needed for foundation or support structures. Maintain a clean and safe construction site by adhering to safety protocols and managing heavy lifting tasks efficiently. Assist with landscape maintenance and hardscape installations to complement deck and fence projects. Assemble components on-site with attention to detail while ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal. Conduct quality checks throughout the build process to meet high standards of craftsmanship. Experience Prior experience in construction or carpentry roles with a focus on framing, deck building, or fencing is highly preferred. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, concrete forming, masonry, and welding techniques. Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and ability to work effectively in outdoor environments. Knowledge of landscape maintenance or hardscape installation is a plus but not required. Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform physically demanding tasks consistently. Strong understanding of blueprints or technical drawings related to carpentry or landscape projects. Previous experience working on residential or commercial construction sites will be advantageous.
