Company Description Central Arizona Shelter Services (CASS), founded in 1984, is a leading nonprofit organization providing services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness in the Phoenix metropolitan area. Role Description The Case Manager will serve as a primary point of contact for clients, assisting them in accessing resources and addressing their immediate needs. Core responsibilities include providing case management support, coordinating services with community partners, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring individuals feel supported throughout their transition toward stability. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Phoenix, Arizona, requiring direct interaction with clients in a shelter environment. Qualifications Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills to effectively work with diverse populations Experience or Education in case management, crisis intervention, and resource identification Ability to coordinate with community partners and facilitate access to social services Proficiency with documentation tools and basic computer skills Knowledge of motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, and cultural competency Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field preferred; Associate's degree graduates welcomed as well. Previous experience in social services or working with vulnerable populations is a plus Ability to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card from AZ DPS is a must.
