CASE WORKER SUPERVISOR Full-Time | Exempt ?? Together California Join Our Mission Together California is seeking a compassionate and experienced Case Worker Supervisor to provide leadership, oversight, and support to our case management team. This position plays a vital role in promoting placement stability, sibling connections, permanency planning, and quality care for children and youth in foster care. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience in foster care or child welfare, a commitment to trauma-informed practices, and a passion for supporting children and families. Position Summary The Case Worker Supervisor is responsible for overseeing case management services, supervising case workers and related staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting positive outcomes for children and families. This position focuses on maintaining sibling placements, permanency planning, and ensuring timely and effective case management services. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Supervise, support, and train case workers handling sibling placements Provide oversight to the RFA Worker and Placement & Family Engagement Coordinator Review and approve case plans, assessments, and permanency goals Monitor caseloads and ensure timely completion of required documentation and reports Track case assignments, home visit logs, TILP status reports, NSPs, and RFA applications Ensure compliance with Title 22, ILS 6, county regulations, and agency policies Coordinate with therapists, schools, social workers, and community partners to support youth needs Support placement stability through proactive intervention and crisis management Advocate for resources and policies that help prevent sibling separation Prepare reports related to outcomes, trends, and performance metrics Handle complex case escalations and support staff through challenging situations Qualifications Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field required Minimum of two years post-master’s experience in foster care or child welfare Strong leadership and supervisory skills Knowledge of trauma-informed care and sibling placement best practices Experience working with DCFS, CCL, courts, and social service systems Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment Ability to work flexible hours as needed Valid California driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record Ability to clear all required background clearances Commitment to Together California’s mission, vision, and values Why Join Together California?
