The International Rescue Committee (IRC) responds to the world's worst humanitarian crises, helping to restore health, safety, education, economic wellbeing, and power to people devastated by conflict and disaster.Founded in 1933 at the call of Albert Einstein, the IRC is one of the world's largest international humanitarian non-governmental organizations (INGO), at work in more than 40 countries and 29 U.S.cities helping people to survive, reclaim control of their future and strengthen their communities.A force for humanity, IRC employees deliver lasting impact by restoring safety, dignity and hope to millions.If you're a solutions-driven, passionate change-maker, come join us in positively impacting the lives of millions of people world-wide for a better future.Job Overview:The Casework Supervisor manages staff providing direct client services across resettlement and integration case management programs.The casework supervisor plans programming, coordinates service delivery, supervises a team, ensures program goals are met, and satisfies budgetary, compliance and reporting responsibilities for the assigned portfolio.This position is based in Denver, with regular onsite presence within the office.Major Responsibilities:Service Delivery Guide program implementation and ensure all required services are completed in a timely manner for new arrival, housing and integration casework programs.Assign cases to caseworkers and manage timely provision of services such as airport pickups, housing navigation, home visits, school enrollment, domestic health assessments, and connection to community resources as applicable.Ensure follow-up and coordination on all necessary services, including public benefits, referrals to immigration legal and employment services, applications for Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and medical and mental health needs.Provide oversight so each client receives at least one meaningful interaction every 30 days during their service period.Ensure case close out procedures are followed once a client has reached the goals of their program.Support casework team to implement new programming based on available funding and identified client needs.May lead and facilitate client workshops and trainings on housing navigation, digital literacy or other identified topics.Partnership Building Manage relationships with property owners and managers to expand access to sources of affordable housing.Collaborate with colleagues and partners to encourage timely internal and external referrals for additional services.Identify and maintain relationships with local government and community-based organizations with the goal of connecting clients with necessary benefits and services.Develop relationships with community resources such as shelters for temporary housing, domestic violence shelters, mental health providers and medical specialists.Develop and maintain vendor relationships that create budgetary savings and improve efficiency.Documentation, Reporting and Contract Compliance Ensure that case file documentation is maintained in compliance with contract requirements.Track, reconcile and approve financial assistance disbursements, ensuring compliance with donor and program requirements.Guide the timely implementation of program updates as needed.Liaise with the HQ colleagues to ensure thorough understanding of program guidelines and disseminate guidelines to direct service team.Review data to meet donor reporting requirements.Assist with the preparation for all monitoring visits including IRC, state, and federal agencies.Monitor program execution to ensure compliance with all funding requirements; communicate program needs to management team.Staff Supervision and Other Responsibilities Liaise regularly with HQ colleagues for guidance, case consultations, direct financial assistance and other support as needed and share relevant information to the casework team.Cultivate a respectful and supportive environment for team members and clients.Recruit, train, and manage team in accordance with IRC's People Manager Standards.Directly supervise a team of caseworkers providing client-facing services.Oversee daily activities and maintain close communication with case management staff regarding challenging cases.Carry out timely, professional interventions to ensure responsive, appropriate, and client-centered service delivery.Train direct reports on using IRC and other donor reporting and financial systems.Represent IRC in public, professional, and state/local partner convenings as required.Other duties as assigned.Job Requirements:Education:Bachelor's degree strongly preferred, preferably in social work or related field Work Experience:Minimum two to three years of experience implementing domestic refugee resettlement or similar case management programs Experience supervising, supporting, and training staff strongly preferred Experience in program management and responsibility for client direct assistance preferre
