Burger Joint is a fast-casual burger restaurant. We have a fast-paced work environment that requires multi-tasking and problem solving and ability to provide great customer service under pressure. We are looking for outgoing, driven, dependable team members to grow with us. Restaurant experience is required, as well as a valid TABC Certificate and Food Handlers Permit. Average take home pay including tips $17-23/hr Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases or orders in a friendly, professional manner Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed Upsell additional items or promotions to enhance customer experience and increase sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the food service area, including bussing tables and food handling Support food preparation tasks when needed, ensuring quality and safety standards are met Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction Requirements Previous experience in food service, retail, or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong math skills for cash handling, basic math calculations, and retail math applications Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy shifts Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bussing tables or food handling Commitment to food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Exceptional customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities Flexibility to work various shifts including overnight hours in a quick service or fast-food restaurant environment Join our team today and become part of an energetic workplace that values your contributions!
