To provide excellent customer service while preparing and serving ice cream and related treats, including taking orders, scooping ice cream, and preparing sundaes or milkshakes, all while maintaining a clean and organized work area.Key Responsibilities:Customer Service:Greet customers warmly and efficiently.Take accurate orders and ensure customer satisfaction.Answer customer questions about flavors, ingredients, and specials.Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.Ice Cream Preparation:Scoop and portion ice cream accurately.Prepare sundaes, milkshakes, and other ice cream creations.Maintain proper storage and handling of ice cream and toppings.Cleanliness and Organization:Maintain a clean and organized work area.Clean and sanitize equipment and surfaces regularly.Ensure proper food safety standards are followed.Cash Handling:Process cash and credit card transactions accurately.Handle cash drawer and reconcile sales at the end of shift.Skills:Excellent customer service skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Basic math skills for calculating orders and change.Knowledge of different ice cream flavors and toppings.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work as part of a team.Job Types:Part-time, Seasonal Pay:From $16.00 per hour Shift:Day shift Evening shift Ability to Commute:Glens Falls, NY 12801 (Required) Work Location:In person.
