Job Overview This position is focused entirely on front-of-house responsibilities.You will be taking customer orders, managing the salad bar, and ensuring all orders are organized, accurate, and handed out efficiently.This role requires someone who can stay organized, move quickly, and provide good customer service in a fast-paced environment.Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales transactions quickly and efficiently Handle cash, credit, and mobile payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed Assist customers with product questions, product demos, and upselling opportunities to maximize sales Maintain clean and organized checkout areas while merchandising products effectively at the register Stock shelves and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability for customers Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering inquiries, and maintaining phone etiquette Support the store's merchandising efforts by arranging displays and promoting featured products Assist in grocery store operations by ensuring proper stocking, labeling, and inventory management Supervise or assist with training new team members in cashiering procedures and customer service standards Qualifications Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment preferred but not required Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math to handle transactions accurately Strong communication skills and bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers effectively Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service with positive phone etiquette Experience in supervising or mentoring team members is advantageous Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately during transactions Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and retail sales practices preferred Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with excellent multitasking skills Enthusiastic attitude with a passion for helping customers find what they need Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy makes a difference!
