All roles are paid positions, emphasizing the value we place on your contributions. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service as a cashier, barista, and server. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing. Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, utilizing barista skills and coffee industry knowledge to meet customer preferences. Manage food service duties by taking orders, serving food and drinks promptly, and ensuring presentation meets quality standards. Maintain food safety and food handling protocols in accordance with health regulations; assist with basic food preparation when needed. Handle cash register operations efficiently while managing retail math for accurate transactions and change. Keep the café clean, organized, and stocked; assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as necessary. Demonstrate excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple responsibilities with effective time management skills. Qualifications Previous experience as a barista or in food service is highly preferred; familiarity with coffee preparation is a plus. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is desirable. Strong customer service skills with an energetic attitude and positive approach to guest interactions. Ability to handle cash accurately using basic math skills; experience in cashiering or retail math is beneficial. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours. Previous serving experience in a café or restaurant environment is advantageous but not required.
