Responsibilities Greet customers promptly and courteously at the point of sale. Scan and process purchases accurately using the cash register or POS system. Balance the cash drawer and prepare cash deposits at the end of each shift. Resolve customer issues and complaints in a professional and timely manner. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and store aisles. Requirements Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role preferred. Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash accurately. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain patient and friendly under pressure.
