Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier/Cooks to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions and assisting with inquiries. Your ability to communicate effectively and create a welcoming environment will be essential in ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs. Process transactions accurately using the cash register and POS system. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to effectively sell products and services. Assist customers in locating products within the store and provide recommendations as needed. Perform basic retail math to ensure accurate pricing and discounts during transactions. Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to enhance the shopping experience. Skills Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Proficiency in cash handling and experience operating a cash register or POS system. Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and retail sales calculations. Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping others is essential for success in this role.
