Duties Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with precision and integrity Assist customers with product inquiries, upselling opportunities, and product demos to enhance their shopping experience Maintain an organized checkout area by stocking supplies and merchandising displays Provide friendly phone etiquette when answering customer questions or directing calls Support inventory management through stocking shelves and participating in regular stock checks Promote store promotions and loyalty programs to maximize sales opportunities Requirements Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs Demonstrated customer service skills with a positive attitude Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities within the team This role offers an energetic environment where your proactive approach and excellent interpersonal skills will shine.
