Duties Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and offering product recommendations. Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments with precision while maintaining proper cash handling procedures. Maintain store merchandising standards by restockikg, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering the phone to inquiries or assisting customers. Experience Prior cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math is advantageous for accurate transactions. Supervising experience is a plus, especially if it involved overseeing team members or managing customer service operations. Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively. Strong communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously are essential for success in this role.
