Provide friendly, professional customer service by assisting shoppers with product inquiries, product demos, and upselling opportunities to enhance their shopping experience. Maintain store cleanliness and organization by performing routine cleaning, stocking shelves, merchandising products, and ensuring aisles are clear. Conduct product demos to educate customers about new or featured items, encouraging engagement and sales. Supervise and support team members during shifts, including overseeing cashier operations and assisting with training when needed. Manage inventory levels through stock replenishment, merchandising, and stock rotation to ensure product availability and presentation standards are met. Handle phone inquiries with excellent phone etiquette, providing information or directing calls appropriately. Skills Proven experience with POS systems and cash register operations in a retail or grocery store environment. Strong supervising experience with the ability to lead by example and motivate team members. Excellent communication skills in both bilingual (if applicable) and English to serve diverse customer needs effectively. Demonstrated ability to upsell products through engaging product demos and suggestive selling techniques. Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, retail math, and grocery store operations to optimize sales floor presentation. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor, active listening abilities, and patience. Basic math skills for cash handling, balancing registers, and performing retail calculations accurately.
