Responsibilities Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently during transactions Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product demos when needed Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with precision Pack purchased items carefully to ensure safe transport for customers Maintain merchandising displays and stock shelves to enhance store presentation Upsell products and promote special offers to increase sales opportunities Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and phone etiquette professionally Qualifications Previous experience in cashiering or retail sales is preferred but not required; training will be provided Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities are a plus Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities within the team Knowledge of grocery store operations or familiarity with merchandising and stocking procedures is beneficial Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as packing and stocking Friendly attitude with excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills Join us in creating a lively shopping environment where every customer feels valued!
