High school students is available (16or over) Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently processing transactions. As a Cashier, you will play a key role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers and ensuring that all sales are handled accurately and promptly. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed during their shopping experience. Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, including cash handling and credit card processing. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services to effectively assist customers with their inquiries. Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, enhancing the customer’s purchasing decision. Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate issues when necessary. Support retail sales initiatives by upselling products and promoting special offers. Collaborate with team members to meet store goals and maintain a high standard of customer service. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. Strong basic math skills to ensure accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with supervising or training new staff is beneficial but not mandatory. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to sales and product knowledge.
