About us Bodega Boise is a small convenience store in downtown Boise, ID.Striving to provide a friendly one stop shop for the community living, working, and visiting the downtown area.We love working with creative, self-motivated individuals, who take pride in their work.The position we are looking to fill is for someone who is willing to work nights and weekends.Our work environment includes:Casual work attire On-the-job training Flexible working hours Lively atmosphere Job Overview:We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Cashier/Sales Associate to join our team.As a Cashier/Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions, and assisting customers with their inquiries.This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment and have a passion for sales.Responsibilities: Greet customers and provide them with a positive shopping experience - Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register - Assist customers in finding products and provide product information - Maintain a clean and organized checkout area - Stock shelves and ensure merchandise is properly displayed - Promote sales by offering additional products or services - Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints - Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, returns, and exchanges Experience: Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred - Familiarity with operating a cash register is required - Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment and be self motivated to complete tasks during sale lulls - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to work well in a team Physical Strength: Ability to lift weights ranging from 20 to 65 pounds. Stamina to perform lifting tasks repeatedly throughout the workday.Mobility and Endurance: Good mobility, including bending, squatting, and reaching.
