Job OverviewWe are seeking a friendly Cashier/Sales Associate to work at the Dallas Farmers Market every Saturday and Sunday (weekend only).Must speak fluent English.This role is vital in providing excellent customer service, managing transactions accurately, and promoting our products.The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, will be friendly and approachable.Our tent is set up OUTDOORS under the market's large shed.Duties Operate POS systems efficiently to process sales Greet customers warmly and assist with product inquiries Conduct product demos to highlight features and benefits Maintain merchandising displays and ensure products are well-stocked Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform accurate cash handling procedures Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and welcoming Support Sandwich Chef staff during busy periods Experience Previous retail sales or cashier experience preferred, especially in grocery or similar environments Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures Strong basic math skills for handling transactions accurately Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening Experience with upselling techniques and product demos is advantageous Job Type:Part-time Pay:$16.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours:10 - 22 per week Work Location:In person.
