OverviewWe are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier/Sales Associate to join our retail team.This role is vital in providing excellent customer service, managing sales transactions, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, retail experience, and a passion for helping customers find the products they need.Previous experience with POS systems and cashiering is preferred, along with the ability to upsell and promote products effectively.Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve our diverse customer base.Responsibilities Operate POS systems efficiently to process sales transactions accurately and quickly Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with product inquiries and recommendations Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision and integrity Maintain an organized checkout area and ensure product displays are neat and appealing Conduct product demos when applicable to enhance customer engagement Assist with merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing displays, and inventory management Upsell products to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction Support store operations by supervising or assisting in supervising team members when needed Follow phone etiquette standards when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cashiering procedures Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations Experience in retail sales, merchandising, stocking, and grocery store operations preferred Ability to perform product demos and upselling techniques effectively Bilingual language skills to serve a diverse clientele are advantageous Supervising experience is a plus for leadership roles within the team Excellent phone etiquette and professional demeanor during interactions with customers and team members This position offers an engaging environment where your sales skills and customer service talents can thrive.We value proactive team players who are committed to delivering outstanding shopping experiences.Job Type:Part-time Pay:From $16.00 per hour Work Location:In person.
