Job SummaryJoin our dynamic team as a Cashier/Sales Associate, where your enthusiasm and customer-focused mindset will drive memorable shopping experiences.In this lively role, you'll be the friendly face that greets customers, processes transactions efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems, and provides expert product guidance.Your energy and communication skills will help create a welcoming environment, encouraging customers to explore our products through engaging demos and upselling opportunities.Whether assisting with stocking shelves or managing cash handling duties, you'll play a vital part in delivering exceptional retail service that keeps our store thriving.Duties Operate POS systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with professionalism.Provide outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and offering product recommendations tailored to their needs.Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, enhancing the shopping experience and encouraging sales growth.Assist with merchandising and stocking shelves to ensure the store remains organized, attractive, and fully stocked for customers.Support upselling efforts by suggesting complementary products and promotions to maximize sales opportunities.Maintain phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely, ensuring clear communication at all times.Supervise or assist in training new team members, sharing best practices for cashiering, customer service, and store operations.Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures to ensure accurate transactions.Previous supervising experience or leadership skills that motivate team collaboration.Ability to demonstrate products confidently through engaging demos that highlight key features.Bilingual skills are a plus for serving diverse customer needs effectively.Strong communication skills combined with excellent phone etiquette for both in-person and remote interactions.Upselling techniques to promote additional products or services while maintaining a positive customer experience.Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, retail math, and grocery store operations to support daily store functions.Basic math skills necessary for cash register accuracy and transaction balancing.Customer service expertise with a friendly attitude that fosters repeat business.Join us in creating an energetic shopping environment where every customer feels valued!
