Duties Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges with accuracy. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and offering product recommendations. Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, enhancing the shopping experience. Assist with merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the store remains inviting and well-maintained. Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, balancing registers, and managing receipts. Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities while respecting customer preferences. Maintain excellent phone etiquette when responding to inquiries or assisting customers remotely. Experience Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Supervising experience is a plus, especially in guiding team members or managing daily store operations. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve our diverse customer base effectively. Familiarity with grocery store environments or retail math helps ensure accuracy in transactions and inventory management. Strong communication skills are essential for engaging customers confidently and professionally.
