Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and friendly Cashier/Customer Service professional to join our retail team! In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional service to customers while efficiently handling transactions. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs, including product demos and merchandising inquiries Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash, credit, and mobile payments while ensuring proper cash handling procedures Manage cashier duties such as applying discounts, and completing sales transactions efficiently Upsell products and promote store promotions to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, restocking supplies as needed and ensuring a smooth flow at the register Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support stock management by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and assisting with inventory counts Requirements Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to engage bilingual customers effectively Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations Knowledge of POS systems and cashiering procedures is highly desirable Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly, approachable demeanor Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends Join us if you’re passionate about delivering outstanding customer service in a lively setting!
