Responsibilities Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, assisting with product selection, and offering product demos when appropriate Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision and integrity Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Assist customers with upselling opportunities to enhance their shopping experience and increase sales Practice effective phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing support over the phone Support inventory management through stock replenishment and inventory checks Engage in friendly communication with customers in a bilingual environment if applicable Experience Previous cashiering or retail sales experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is a plus Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with diverse customers are essential Experience in grocery stores or retail environments will be advantageous Supervising experience is a bonus, demonstrating leadership capabilities in team settings Basic math skills are necessary for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve a broader customer base effectively Join us and become part of a dynamic team committed to delivering outstanding service while growing your retail expertise!
