Responsibilities Cashier/Server Responsibilities Greet customers courteously at the register or counter Process cash, credit card, and digital payments accurately Operate the POS system and cash register efficiently Issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges according to policy Balance cash drawer and maintain accurate cash handling records Answer customer questions about menu items, pricing, and promotions Take phone, online, or in-person orders when required Package takeout or delivery orders accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter area Restock front-of-house supplies such as napkins, cups, and utensils Communicate customer requests clearly to kitchen staff Resolve minor customer service issues professionally Follow company policies, food safety, and sanitation procedures Assist with opening and closing register procedures Monitor lobby or waiting area for cleanliness and customer needs Present menus and explain specials, promotions, and menu items Answer questions about ingredients, allergens, and preparation methods Take food and beverage orders accurately Enter orders into the POS system correctly Serve food and drinks in a timely and professional manner Check on guests during meals to ensure satisfaction Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally Process payments and return correct change or receipts Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations Refill drinks, condiments, utensils, and supplies Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure accurate orders Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines Assist with opening and closing side work duties Upsell menu items, desserts, or beverages when appropriate Present menus and explain specials, promotions, and menu items Answer questions about ingredients, allergens, and preparation methods Take food and beverage orders accurately Enter orders into the POS system correctly Serve food and drinks in a timely and professional manner Check on guests during meals to ensure satisfaction Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally Process payments and return correct change or receipts Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations Refill drinks, condiments, utensils, and supplies Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure accurate orders Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines Assist with opening and closing side work duties Upsell menu items, desserts, or beverages when appropriate Skills Proficiency with POS systems and basic retail math for transactions and cash handling Bilingual skills are valued for serving diverse customer bases effectively Strong communication skills to engage customers professionally and courteously Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in fast-paced settingsJoin us to be part of a vibrant team where your enthusiasm makes a difference!
