Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process customer transactions quickly and accurately Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries or demos when needed Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Assist with inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment and inventory counts Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing assistance over the phone Qualifications Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with diverse customers Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve our diverse community effectively Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and balancing registers accurately Knowledge of POS systems and retail math concepts is advantageous Supervising experience is a plus for candidates interested in growth opportunities within the team Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks related to stocking and merchandising Join our team and be part of a lively environment where your enthusiasm makes a difference!
