In this energetic role, you will be the friendly face that provides exceptional customer service while efficiently managing cashiering duties, stocking shelves, and creating attractive product displays.Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help ensure a seamless shopping experience for our customers.Whether handling transactions at the POS (Point of Sale) system, assisting with product demos, or maintaining organized merchandise, you'll play a vital role in driving sales and enhancing store presentation.This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop retail skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to customer satisfaction.Duties Operate the POS system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges while handling cash, credit cards, and mobile payments with professionalism.Deliver excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and providing product recommendations through upselling techniques.Assist customers with product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging additional purchases.Stock shelves efficiently by receiving deliveries, organizing merchandise, and ensuring products are properly labeled and priced.Support inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and reporting low inventory levels for replenishment.Experience Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is highly desirable.Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations.Experience with merchandising, stocking, or retail sales enhances your ability to succeed in this role.Job Type:Part-time Pay:$18.00 per hour Expected hours:20 - 25 per week Work Location:In person.
