In this energetic role, you'll be the friendly face at checkout, ensuring smooth transactions and exceptional service.Your attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks will keep our store running efficiently.Whether assisting customers with their purchases, managing cash registers, or providing product information, you'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits and boosts sales.Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately and efficiently to process transactions, returns, and exchanges.Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and offering product demos when appropriate.Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with precision and integrity.Assist with merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented.Upsell related products or promotions to enhance the customer's shopping experience and increase sales.Maintain phone etiquette when addressing inquiries or assisting customers over the phone.Support inventory management by participating in stock counts and ensuring the sales floor is tidy and inviting.Experience Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated newcomers eager to learn!
