Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and valued. Your ability to multitask and manage time effectively will contribute to the smooth operation of our restaurant. Responsibilities Greet guests promptly and courteously, ensuring a warm welcome. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings. Take accurate orders using the OpenTable system or similar software. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy. Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, providing excellent guest services. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Adhere to food safety standards and regulations at all times. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilizing basic math skills for payments. Skills Strong math skills for handling transactions and managing bills accurately. Familiarity with OpenTable or similar restaurant management software is preferred. Excellent upselling techniques to enhance guest experiences and boost sales. Exceptional guest services skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences. Experience in a restaurant environment is advantageous but not required. Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety practices is beneficial. Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
